Yes. Creating an account, browsing nail designs, following artists, using AR Try-On, and finding and booking salons are all free. Nailterest also offers optional paid features for professionals, such as promotion tools, but the core discovery, try-on, and booking experience costs nothing.

Nail DNA is a personalized taste profile built from the designs you love. As you like and save designs, your feed becomes tailored to the colors, shapes, and patterns you prefer. It keeps improving the more you interact with the app.

How does the AR nail try-on work?
AR Try-On lives in the Nailterest iOS and Android app. It uses your phone camera to map a nail design onto your own fingers in real time, tracking your hand and nail shape so you can see how a color or pattern looks on you before you book a salon or recreate it at home.

Open the Salons section to see nail salons near you on a map, with ratings and the styles each salon offers. You can browse a salon profile, view its work, and message it directly. Discovery connects designs you love with local salons that can deliver them.
Can I book a nail appointment on Nailterest?
Yes. Many salons and independent nail artists accept bookings directly through their Nailterest profile. Open a salon's profile, pick a service, choose an available time with a specific nail artist, and confirm. You get an emailed confirmation with the full details right away.
Do I need an account to book an appointment?
No. You can book as a guest with just your name, email, and phone number, plus a quick human-verification step to keep bookings spam free. Signing in is optional. It just lets you see your upcoming and past bookings in one place under My Bookings.
Is booking a nail appointment free?
Yes, booking through Nailterest costs nothing. You pay the salon directly for the service itself, the same as booking any other way. Nailterest does not add booking fees or take a cut of what you pay for your appointment.
What happens after I submit a booking?
You get an email confirming your request right away. Some salons confirm every booking instantly, while others review each request first. If a salon needs to approve your booking, you get a follow-up email as soon as they confirm the time.
Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?
Every booking confirmation email includes a cancellation link, so you can cancel without signing in. To reschedule, cancel your existing booking and book a new time slot from the salon's profile page.
